THIS SATURDAY, October 17 at 1 pm PST, join us for a conversation about The Chinese Lady by Lloyd Suh, its connection to the history of Chinese in America, and what role the arts play in the interpretation and remembering of that history.
Panelists include Rena Heinrich (USC Professor of Theatre Practice), Eugene Moy (Chinese American Museum board member), Rebecca Wear (director of AAP’s 2019 production of The Chinese Lady), and moderated by AAP Producing Artistic Leader Stefanie Lau. The conversation will be recorded as part of the AAP Podcast inaugural season. This event is presented in partnership with the Chinese American Museum to commemorate the 149th anniversary of the Los Angeles Chinese Massacre.
