Katherine Chou (Playwright) is a writer, director, and producer. Her work in theatre spans new play development and productions with Artists at Play, South Coast Repertory, Boston Court Pasadena, A Noise Within, EST/LA, and the Denver Center for Performing Arts, among others. As a filmmaker, her work has screened at festivals internationally and received recognition from CAPE, STARZ, Women in Film, and Visual Communications’ Armed With a Camera Fellowship. Previously, she worked in post-production on films at Warner Bros., 20th Century Studios, and HBO. A graduate of L’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, she has called many places home across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Nikita Chaudhry (she/her) (Noor) is an artist, activist, and educator. Born and raised in Baltimore and a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Nikita is most passionate about projects that uplift underrepresented narratives, bridge socio-political gaps, and challenge the boundaries of storytelling, while collaborating with directly impacted community organizations and campaigns. Christine Fang (Jennifer) is an actor, writer and multidisciplinary social impact producer. Born in Shanghai, raised in Queens, and educated in England and France, she trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, École Philippe Gaulier, and Upright Citizens Brigade. Her acting work spans theatre, screen, and comedy and has taken her around the US, UK and France. She recently wrapped a sitcom, a co-produced film between the US, UK and Serbia, and is developing a two-hander to be presented in London this summer. Christine is drawn to collaborative new works that bridge cultures and bold reimaginings of classics.

Sonia Aliya Goswami (Sameera) is an Indian American actor from New York and an MFA Acting graduate from USC. Dancer turned actor, she is most at home on stage. Her theater credits include Deep Blue Sound (Ella), Marat/Sade (Simonne), Much Ado About Nothing (Donna Leonata), I’ll Get You, My Pretty (Angela). Sonia is filled with gratitude for her family, partner, and chosen family who are her biggest cheerleaders. When you see her on stage, just know she is living her greatest dreams.

Sharayu Mahale (Radhika) is a bicoastal actor excited to be a part of California Gold! Her most recent work includes the Broadway national tour of Life of Pi as Rani (Pi u/s). Off-Broadway credits include Monsoon Wedding directed by Mira Nair. Film and television credits include Cobra Kai, The Afterparty, Class of ’09, Frankie Meets Jack. Provvidenza Catalano (Huell Howser, Others) is a community motivator, teacher, actor and performance artist working in Los Angeles. Enza uses live performance, local events and creative pedagogies to experiment with community building techniques, applied queerness and radical love. Their newest work, Gaytown Neighborhood Council, is an exploration of togetherness and fantasy civics as an Artist in Residence at the LA LGBT Center. In addition to their work as an artist, Provvidenza organizes and produces Them Fatale, LA’s longest running drag king show. Enza recently completed a MFA in Performance Pedagogy at Loyola Marymount University building upon over 15 years of organizing, performance and direct action work.

Julia Cho (Stage Directions), born and bred in Los Angeles, is a proud Artists at Play founding member whose work encompasses producing, acting, and casting. Having performed in numerous projects with various LA theatre companies over the years, Julia has also directed and workshopped new plays by Stephanie Kyung Sun Walters as part of LAUNCH PAD at UC Santa Barbara. Other acting credits span films; recurring roles on TV shows like This Is Us, Goliath, and Scandal, and the Emmy-winning web series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. You can also hear Julia’s voice English-dubbing roles in Korean content across major streaming platforms.
Arnab Banerji (he/him) (Dramaturg) is a Tovangaar-based dramaturg. Arnab researches South Asian and South Asian American theatre and translates plays into English. Arnab has written a book on Bengali theatre, and his writing has appeared in several academic journals. He can be reached at @arnabanerji (Instagram) and arnab.banerji@lmu.edu.
